A six-year collaboration between two faculty members at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute has yielded new insight into the regulation of intraocular pressure in glaucoma—an irreversible condition that causes progressive visual impairment due to optic nerve damage and is the leading cause of blindness worldwide. | more

Studio Arts Complex Celebrates Opening
The University of Miami College of Arts and Sciences and the Department of Art and Art History celebrated the grand opening of the new Studio Arts Complex on March 29 with sweet treats, music, a glass-blowing demonstration, and the dedication of the building’s Conni Gordon Painting Studio.
