The University of Miami’s Open Enrollment period begins October 17 and runs through November 4. During that time, faculty and staff can enroll or make changes to medical, dental, flexible spending, and short-term disability benefits. In 2012 employees can expect no increases in copays or deductibles and modest medical premium increases. | more |

The Launch Pad Wins Grand Prize at MetroBroward Lighthouse Awards
The Launch Pad, the University’s Miami unique entrepreneurship initiative, won a Grand Prize from the Metro Broward Economic Development Corporation at the recent MetroBroward Lighthouse Awards, which recognize the outstanding contributions of organizations that have made an impact on the success of regional small businesses in the areas of advocacy, consulting assistance, and start-up assistance. | more |
