    Global Nursing Research Colloquium
    Nearly 1,000 nurse scientists, scholars, and other nursing professionals from around the world gathered at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel September 5-7 for the XIII Pan American Nursing Research Colloquium, marking the first time that the prestigious biennial event was held in the United States. Hosted by the University of Miami’s School of Nursing and Health Studies, the conference, themed “Global Nursing Research Challenges for the Millennium,” featured panels, roundtable discussions, poster sessions, and workshops that addressed everything from advances in nursing research to the vital role nurses can play in addressing health and health disparities.
