Researchers Develop Novel Family Therapy for Schizophrenia
University researchers have developed a family-focused, culturally informed treatment for schizophrenia, becoming among the first to incorporate elements of the patient’s cultural background as part of therapy. Appearing at the Cosford Cinema on November 23, legendary actress and director Liv Ullman talked about the power of close-ups and shared moving stories about her grandmother and about fellow actress Ingrid Bergman following a screening of the Ingmar Bergman classic Autumn Sonata. Ullmann and Ingrid Bergman both starred in the 1978 drama, which was presented in its original 35 mm format by the Norton Herrick Center for Motion Picture Studies as part of the Classic Cosford series. |
