Barbara E. Kahn, an internationally recognized expert in marketing and consumer choice, has served as dean of the School of Business Administration for two years. She joined the University from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where she was the Dorothy Silberberg Professor of Marketing and vice dean and director of the Wharton Undergraduate Program.

DIRECTIONS TO BROOKINGS
We strongly advise taking the Metro to Brookings. Parking is very limited and expensive in Dupont Circle, although street parking may be available at parking meters.

METRO INFORMATION

  • Take the red line to Dupont Circle. Exit at Dupont South (you will be on 19th St.).
  • At the top of the escalator, make a 180-degree turn and walk toward the traffic circle.
  • Turn right onto Massachusetts Avenue (SunTrust Bank is on the corner).
  • Brookings is a block and a half down on the left side, just past 18th Street.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

From Rockville and locations north of D.C.:

  • Take Connecticut Avenue south. Turn left on S St., just past the Washington Hilton.
  • Turn right on 18th St. Turn left on Massachusetts Avenue. Brookings will be on your left.

From Fairfax and locations west of D.C.:

  • Take Interstate 66 East to the Roosevelt Bridge. Cross bridge. Road becomes Constitution Ave.
  • Turn left on 17th St.; it will turn into Connecticut Avenue.
  • One and a half blocks past the Mayflower Hotel, bear right onto 18th St.
  • Turn right onto Massachusetts Avenue (the second light). Brookings will be on your left.

From Northern Virginia and locations south of D.C.:

  • Take the 14th St. bridge across the Potomac River. After crossing the river, turn left onto K St.
  • Turn right on Connecticut Avenue.
  • One and a half blocks past the Mayflower Hotel, bear right onto 18th St.
  • Turn right onto Massachusetts Avenue (the second light). Brookings will be on your left.
