Register for DCC V by December 1
and Get Tickets to See the
Dolphins Battle the Vikings

The Two-Day, Tri-County Event Takes Place
February 7 and 8

With more than two months remaining until Dolphins Cycling Challenge V, there is still plenty of time to register for the two-day, tri-county event that raises funds for lifesaving cancer research at the University of Miami Health System's Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Now, register as a rider for DCC V by December 1, and you’ll receive two (2) tickets to the Miami Dolphins vs. Minnesota Vikings game at Sun Life Stadium on Sunday, December 21.

Since its inception, the Dolphins Cycling Challenge has raised more than $7 million for groundbreaking research and patient care at Sylvester. The event has permanently moved to a new spot on the calendar—the weekend after the Super Bowl, which places DCC V on February 7 and 8. Bicyclists can choose various skill levels and routes through 37 cities in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties, including 13 miles over one day and up to 170 miles over two days.

Can’t ride? There are other ways to get involved. Starting this year, participants can walk or run in the new DCC 5K experience.

The University of Miami will pay half the registration fees—$75 for riders, $25 for walkers/runners—for UM faculty and staff who register as part of Team UM Sylvester. This offer does not apply if you register with another team. If you are interested in taking advantage of the special offer, please send an email to ridedcc@miami.edu with your name, department, and telephone number to receive registration instructions.

Don’t want to ride, walk, or run? Volunteer! Volunteers are wanted and needed during the two-day ride. You can volunteer at local water stops or cheer on riders at Survivors Day at Sun Life Stadium on Sunday, February 8.
