Biography
MARTHA
R. MAHONEY
Martha R. Mahoney, Professor of Law, earned a B.A. from Regents College
in 1981, an M.A. from Tulane University in 1985, and a J.D. from Stanford
Law School in 1989. Professor Mahoney currently sits on the Miami-Dade
County Election Reform Coalition, a watchdog group created after the September
2002 primary election. She worked as a law clerk for Judge Warren Ferguson
of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Professor Mahoney
has published and lectured widely in the fields of domestic violence and
race and development. She teaches courses in property and land use, criminal
law, race and urban development, and public interest law.
