For more information, please contact UM/Sylvester at 305-243-9949 or www.sylvester.org/wellbeing Explorer of the Seas VoyageAugust 14-23Departing from Port Liberty, New JerseyAlumni and friends of the University of Miami, and its Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science, are invited to sail on a unique oceanographic adventure aboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines's Explorer of the Seas. "Treasures of the Abyss" will feature renowned marine archaeologist and UM alumnus John Gifford, Ph.D., who will serve as cruise leader for the nine-day cruise. The state-of-the-art Explorer is the first luxury passenger vessel outfitted with dedicated science labs and sensors that gather data for oceanic and atmospheric studies. The cruise will depart on August 14 from Port Liberty, New Jersey and return on August 23.
