The June 2008 “Engineering for the Americas”, will be held in Panama City, Panama from June 8-14, 2008. The theme for this one-week program will continue the theme of water, which is being established at the January 2008 session at the University of Miami.

      Speakers will be addressing issues related to the topic and participants will see first-hand how researchers and professionals tackle these issues both in the laboratory and in the field. Special emphasis will be focused on the Panama Canal Expansion Program.
