At the top of this and every page at this site is our
logo , which incorporates an abstraction of the enrollments funnel – wide at its mouth for potential students in the higher education universe, and narrowing as it descends through inquiry, applicant, acceptant, enrollee, and graduate stages. The abstraction symbolizes a great deal – a traditional funnel, indeed, but a wholly different kind of process and philosophy.
As enrollment managers, we view and interact with the funnel in countless ways. We know each stage is vital and that we in turn can have a vital impact on each stage – by using the results of good research, by knowing not only our prospective students but also our current students very well, by communicating quickly and effectively with each other, by working as a team across office lines to stay in front of change and to constantly improve services to students and families.
