Jeffrey P. Brosco, M.D., Ph.D.
Jeffrey P. Brosco, M.D., Ph.D., is a Professor of Pediatrics in the UM School of Medicine, and Director of Clinical Services at the UM Mailman Center for Child Development
Dr. Brosco completed his M.D. and a Ph.D. in the history of medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He served as chief resident after training in pediatrics at Jackson Memorial Hospital, and he is board-certified in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics. He has just completed his tenure as a Robert Wood Johnson Generalist Faculty Scholar, and he continues to teach and practice both general pediatrics and developmental pediatrics.
Dr. Brosco is Vice-Chair of the Pediatric Bioethics Committee at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center. His previous research includes an analysis of the history of health care for children, and his current project focuses on the history of federal disability policy.
