The
Miami Semester in Cuban Studies is a unique opportunity for students
to come to Miami and spend the summer learning about Cuba in Miami.
Students will take advantage of the University of Miami’s strategic geographic location and deeply rooted connections to Cuba. Our lovely, tropical main campus in Coral Gables will open its doors to you to participate in a summer “abroad” program in our tropical community in South Florida. Program Dates for Summer 2008: May – June 2008 Application: Undergraduate students may apply on-line. Deadline is April 15, 2006. Individuals applying to audit the course(s) may apply by calling ICCAS at 305 284-2822. Who can apply: Any undergraduate student attending UM or any other institution. High School seniors will also be given consideration upon the recommendation of their counselors. Location: Casa Bacardi- Institute for Cuban and Cuban-American Studies. Scholarships: The Manuel Jorge Cutillas Scholarship Program will provide four (4) full scholarships and ten (10) partial scholarships to undergraduate students applying to the program.
