The advantages of our downtown Miami location on the bay are many. In one instance Maria Linares took a teacher’s conference group around the city on the Metro Mover, and organized the welcome reception on Riverwalk, since many of the participants would be coming from the cold up north. The Metro Mover’s Inner Loop has a stop right inside the Knight Center that gives visitors easy access to the rest of the city and its large panel windows make for some incredible views.


Instead of having the banquet in the hotel, she helped contract a charter yacht service so they could dine on board while cruising lovely Biscayne Bay. The yacht was able to pick them up right behind the Hyatt, which has its own dock.


Maria joined the conference participants for dinner and the picturesque view as the manta rays flew out of the water alongside the yacht as the sun set. The temperature was cool and when the city lights started coming on one group member exclaimed, “When Miami puts on a show, it really puts on a show!”
