
Use your UMAA connection! Return to campus to learn again, taking credit courses in the College of Arts and Sciences at a special Alumni rate. All University of Miami graduates are eligible for this special Lifelong Learning Benefit. Students may take whatever courses are of interest, that they may have missed the opportunity to enroll in previously while completing degree requirements. From Anthropology to Theatre Arts and all the disciplines in between, they may choose a course or collection of courses (maximum two courses per discipline) to meet professional or personal goals.The Alumni Rate Program offered by the Division of Continuing & International Education is the opportunity for holders of UM degrees (both undergraduate and graduate degrees) to take courses, on a space available basis, in the College of Arts and Sciences at the special rate of $450 (per credit hour) for fall 2007 and spring 2008.
Restrictions:
- Students may select undergraduate Arts and Sciences courses only
- Registration takes place two days before each term begins, to within two spaces of full enrollment
- Only two courses per discipline allowed in this category. (For example, if a student takes two Philosophy courses, they may not take any more Philosophy classes in this special program.
Students who choose the Lifelong Learning Benefit/Alumni Rate Program may enroll in classes two days prior to the first day of class and within two spots of a "full" class.To inquire about the benefit, request an application, or to enroll in the course of your choice, please call the Division of Continuing & International Education at 305.284.4000. Interested students must submit a simple, no-fee, one-page application (PDF), along with the courses that they are interested in to be on their way to continued learning at the University of Miami.
