Bárbara Gutiérrez, Media Relations Officer

Bárbara Gutiérrez is the media relations officer who covers the School of Nursing and Health Studies, the Center for Hemispheric Policy, the Institute for Cuban and Cuban-American Studies, the Cuban Heritage Collection, the European Union and the Department of International Studies.

A former editor of Spanish-language newspaper El Nuevo Herald and a reporter for The Miami Herald, Ms. Gutierrez has also worked in local television stations. Ms. Gutierrez has a Masters of Science from Columbia Journalism School in New York.
