Mindy Herris, Coordinator

Mindy Herris works as part of the Community Relations team to assist with the planning, management and promotion of University programs for the local community including the CollegeTown newsletter, e-Update and Screen on the Green movie series. She also serves as the main contact for the CollegeTown neighbor program and is a graduate of the Leadership Miami program.

Prior to joining UM she helped establish and promote a new wholesale division for a major gift retailer. Mindy has worked with professional sports teams as community relations manager, merchandising manager and event supervisor, arranging and implementing player and mascot appearances in the community, organizing game-used memorabilia auctions and overseeing the staff and merchandise handling for games and concerts. She earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from Florida International University.
