Ms. Hicks is a Managing Director in Korn/Ferry International’s Miami office, where she is a member of the firm’s education practice. She is responsible for senior-level search assignments and executive assessments for a wide variety of enterprises including non profits and educational organizations. She has a wide range of experience in the not for profit sector including work for the University of Miami, Barry University and FAU. Beth serves as the relationship manager for Korn/Ferry’s extensive relationship with the University of Miami.

Prior to joining Korn/Ferry, Ms. Hicks had more than 25 years of experience in international and domestic commercial banking. She has managed Latin American and domestic banking groups covering correspondent banking, corporate and government markets.

She is an active member of numerous community organizations and serves as a director on the International Advisory Board and the Parents’ Council of the University of Miami, the Board of Trustees of LeMoyne College and the South Florida Chapter of the Center for Financial Training/American Institute of Banking. She also serves as Leadership Council Chair for the Miami Chapter of Take Stock in Children.

Ms. Hicks obtained her MBA from New York University in international finance and holds a BA in modern languages from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, New York. She attended the University of Madrid for her junior year of college.

Dr. Mead-Fox is a Senior Client Partner in the Boston office of Korn/Ferry International. He specializes in executive-level searches in the healthcare, higher education and not-for-profit practices.

Dr. Mead-Fox has recruited well over 100 CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, Deans and other senior executives for a wide range of not-for-profit, healthcare and higher education organizations. Dr. Mead-Fox brought over 20 years of direct management and nationwide consulting experience to the firm. His management background and skills in the areas of strategic positioning, organizational design, new venture development and change management contribute value-added perspective, understanding and insights to the search process.

During his career, Dr. Mead-Fox has developed a variety of healthcare joint ventures, integrated delivery systems and business alliances. He has directed organizational transformation and process engineering and designed/developed and implemented strategic and operational business plans. This experience, combined with management and organization-building in numerous business ventures, allows Dr. Mead-Fox a first-hand understanding of client needs.

Prior to joining Korn/Ferry, Dr. Mead-Fox served as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President for a national healthcare operations and consulting firm. In addition, he has worked as an independent consultant and served as the CEO and COO of a number of start-up and established not-for-profit organizations.

Along with written work on a variety of topics, Dr. Mead-Fox is a regularly invited speaker and workshop leader and is regularly quoted in regional and national publications. Dr. Mead-Fox holds a BA from the University of Connecticut and an MA and PhD (with honors) from Boston College.
