TOP
THREE REASONS YOU SHOULD PARTICIPATE:
#1: You'll
finally get paid for your great idea.
CASH
AWARDS given for each discipline/category:
1st place - $200
2nd place - $150
3rd place - $100
#2: This is the kind of experience you can't create for yourself.
Whether
this is your first time presenting your work, or you're
experienced in these forums, this forum is designed
for you.
The RCF was created to nurture students in preparation
for future presentations. Many students use this opportunity
as a "trial run" before they present
at a national conference in their field.
Additionally, there are a myriad
of opportunities for experienced researchers --
you will be exposed to various community leaders, corporations,
potential
funding
sources, and opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration.
#3: You'll make connections with great people and receive
honest feedback about your work.
Students
participating in the Citizens Board Research and Creativity
Forum have the unique opportunity of showcasing their
research before other students, faculty, administration,
the public, and established members of the community.
All who attend will be able to provide feedback on your
project to help you shape your ideas and presentation
for future forums.
