It is time for our 18th annual tagging of the juvenile lemon sharks, more commonly referred to as "PIT"! PIT stands for "Passive Integrated Transponder", and it is a little chip we insert into the skin of the lemon shark that has a unique code. We can scan this chip and if they are captured again we can compare their growth, weight, and area of capture from before. Hopefully several mother Lemons have pupped many neonates for us to tag, so let the madness begin!
