BBFS is proud to have sponsorship from the following Companies and Individuals.
Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation
We would like to thank Guy Harvey and his Ocean Foundation for their support. Their generous grant earlier this year has helped to fund various projects here in Bimini.
Our annual PIT project, monthly longline, as well as our PhD students' research have all benefited enormously from the vital equipment that we have been able to purchase through this grant.

API MARINE
Here at the Sharklab we rely heavily on our boats and put them through a lot of hard work. We could not continue if not for the generous support of API Marine, who have been providing for the marine and industrial electrical aftermarket since 1963.

Elite Flyers
Here at the Shark Lab it is important for us to find ways to share our scientific findings with the community and public. This has been made much easier with the donation of 1,000 brochures from Elite Flyers!

SUNDANCE BOATS
Wally Bell of Sundance Boats from Blackshear, GA has graciously supplied a fleet of flat bottom boats. These vessels, which include three 16" and two 17" skiffs, are our work horses here at the lab, and we couldn't be happier to have an entire new fleet of research skiffs.
Since the donation of the skiffs in 2008, we continue to be amazed at the craftsmanship and durability of Sundance boats.

MERCURY MARINE
BBFS could not carry out our daily research activities if it were not for the generous support of Mercury Marine. Our full fleet of research vessels are powered by Mercury outboard engines ranging in size from 40HP all the way up to twin 115HP.
Mercury has been an important part of the Sharklab since it's inception and has supported Dr. Gruber's research since the 1980s.

DAVEY MARINE CENTER INC.
Davey Marine Center has been instrumental in keeping our vessels on the water. Davey supplied the Prolines and our old Aquasport to BBFS. Mercury Marine, through Davey Marine, continues to provide replacement outboard engines on a regular basis. Davey is always quick to install these new engines and continually supports our programs so that we can get back out on the water and do the things we do. A large THANK YOU goes out to Mario Aiello from Davey.

Private Donor: Bill Signs/Swedish Auto, Inc. Dallas, Texas
Bill has become quite the Sharklab supporter in recent times. He replaced our handheld VHF radios with a dozen new West Marine model VHF 250 radios. Following that he has graciously donated a Chevrolet Suburban to replace our aging 87' Dodge Ram. He often assists our field work by providing aerial surveys in his private plane and has provided the Sharklab with bait, Q-Beams and a hundred other items.
BBFS can't thank you enough Bill!!!
