You will be allowed 40 pounds of luggage that should be packed in a soft suitcase for easy stowing in the aircraft. Any luggage weighing more than 40 pounds may be subject to additional charges.

Here's what you should include in your packing:

  • Proof of citizenship: Passport or birth certificate for US and Canadian Citizens. Other Nationals, check the FAQ Page if uncertain.
  • Insect repellent - lots of it! A mosquito jacket if you can find one
  • Sun block lotion
  • Hat and polarizing sunglasses
  • Foul weather gear: rain pants and jacket - for boats and foul weather
  • Snorkel gear: masks, fins, snorkel. Wet suits (full 3+mm) are strongly recommended. (No SCUBA gear required)
  • Dive booties, or water shoes with a strong sole
  • At least two bathing suits
  • Beach towel or large towel (bath towels and bed linens are provided)
  • Clothes that can get wet or soiled such as T-shirts and shorts, sweat shirt and long pants, warm jacket, long sleeve shirt, sandals or shoes that can get wet
  • Personal toiletries (deodorant, soap, etc..)
  • Any special foods or medications
  • Headlamp and/or Waterproof flashlight (mandatory)
Also recommended, but not necessary are:
  • Camera (Waterproof cameras are recommended)
  • A few cd's for personal use
  • Laptop computer if you are doing an independent project
  • Batteries for personal CD players, etc
