Two SONHS Faculty Honored as “RWJF Nursing Scholars”
The School of Nursing and Health Studies is honored to have two Assistant Professors, Rosa Gonzalez-Guarda PhD, MSN, MPH, RN, and Martin Schiavenato, PhD, RN, recognized for their outstanding academic accomplishments.
In a nationwide effort to reduce the shortage of nurse educators in our country, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) every year identifies 12 to 15 junior faculty who show “outstanding promise as future leaders in academic nursing” through its Nurse Faculty Scholars program. The School of Nursing and Health Studies is honored to have two: Assistant Professor, Rosa Gonzalez-Guarda PhD, MSN, MPH, RN,selected this year; and Martin Schiavenato, PhD, RN, selected in 2009.
