Cost of Study and Scholarships


The total tuition for the Nurse Anesthesia Program beginning in academic year 2010-2011 is $58,000.


Mandatory Expenses
$8,285.71 Tuition per semester for 7 semesters.  Students who do not complete the program according to their plans of study will be subject to additional tuition.
$    250.00 Nursing fees, paid each Fall and Spring Semester
$    270.00 Malpractice insurance, paid each Fall Semester
$    105.00 University fee paid each Fall and Spring Semester and may change each academic year.
$      40.00 University fee paid each Summer Session and may change each academic year.
$      35.00 Student Activity Fee each Fall and Spring Semester and may change each year.

Scholarships

In addition to scholarships and financial assistance opportunities listed on the School’s website, the University of Miami has partnered with several institutions to help students defray the cost of study. Two major scholarship programs are available: one with the University of Miami and one with Jackson Memorial Hospital. To apply for the Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine’s Nurse Anesthetist Scholars program, you must first be admitted to our program and then apply to the Scholars program.
