Superior and clinical learning in complex and unusual cases:
- Students are exposed to: transplantation, high risk OB, adult and pediatric cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, maxillofacial, pediatrics, trauma, orthopedics, urology, general surgery, gynecology, plastics, oncology, and vascular surgery.
- Emphasis in patient safety practice by simulation training at the UM-JMH Center for Patient Safety on UM's medical campus and the International Academy for Clinical Simulation and Research located in the M.
