To provide a forum for researchers, practitioners, advocates and policy makers;
- To engage in dialogue about international research, practice innovations, advocacy and policy initiative that
address the issue of violence against women and children from varied standpoints;
- To reflect on the ways in which complexities and diversities can be addressed in research, advocacy and
practice with women and children who have experienced violence;
- To consider how our collective knowledge can be used to support system and policy change that benefits
women and children who have been exposed to violence, both locally and globally.
