Pre-Doctoral Associated Health Rehabilitation Research Fellowship Program for AY 2006-2007
This fellowship is offered through the Department of Veterans Affairs. The fellowship award is for one year full-time (40 hours per week), with an annual stipend of 25, 0000. The fellowship is designed for doctoral students who have completed their course work in a rehabilitation health care profession and are prepared to work on a research dissertation relevant to the rehabilitation needs of veterans with disabilities.

Eligibility:
· Applicant must be a US citizen.
· Applicant must be enrolled in a doctoral program in a rehabilitation health care discipline.
· Proposed research must be (1) relevant to VA care of veterans, (2) approved by the applicant’s graduate school dissertation committee, the institutional Review Board, and the VA facility’s Research and Development Committee, and (3) able to be completed within the one year time frame of the fellowship.
