Accelerated BSN Program

General Information

The University of Miami's Accelerated BSN program is designed for individuals who hold undergraduate degrees in fields other than nursing. The streamlined curriculum enables students to earn a baccalaureate degree in nursing in 12 months. Students who graduate from the program are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX).

Expenses and Financial Aid

Admission Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a field other than nursing
  • Minimum GPA including pre-requisite courses: 3.0 for Accelerated BSN program
  • All pre-requisite courses must be completed prior to admission

  • Therapeutic Nutrition
  • Human Growth & Development
  • Behavioral Statistics
  • Chemistry with Lab
  • Introduction to Psychology
