Admission Requirements
- High School GPA – Incoming Freshman have an average GPA of 3.7.
- Transfer GPA – Transfer students have an average GPA of 3.4.
Requirements for Enrollment in Clinical Courses
- To be eligible to enroll in clinical coursework a UM student must have achieved junior standing with an overall grade point average of no less than 3.0 and a prerequisite GPA of 2.7
- Transfer students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 and a prerequisite GPA of 3.00.
- To be considered for admission and/or progression for clinical course work, students are allowed to repeat only 1 prerequisite course. Prerequisites must be completed with a grade of C or better.

Admission Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a field other than nursing
- Accelerated Option and Traditional Second Degree students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 with a 3.00 for prerequisite courses
- All pre-requisite courses must be completed prior to admission with a grade of C or better
