THE OFFICE
SpectrUM holds Office Hours which are staffed by Executive Board members, giving members and non-members alike an opportunity to have lunch, do work, or socialize in a safe environment.

BOOKS and MOVIES
Gay and lesbian themed books and DVDs are also available for rent for a small deposit from an extensive Resource Center maintained within the office.
Donations of books, films, or other resources are encouraged and appreciated. Click HERE for a list of books currently available.

MENTORSHIP PROGRAMS
To help incoming students adjust to life at UM, SpectrUM is proud to sponsor a mentorship program where incoming students can sign up to be paired with an upper-class member who will help answer questions about life at UM, and make the adjustment process as smooth as possible.

MEETINGS
SpectrUM holds weekly meetings that serve as a time for members of UM’s lgbt community to meet and mingle in a safe and discreet environment; as well as, be updated on issues and political causes which affect the gay community.

A weekly e-mail is sent out to members through SpectrUM’s listerv, notifying people about the group’s planned activities. The website is also updated to reflect any future events planned for the group.
