Greetings from Puerto Rico! We hope you all had a fantastic winter break with friends and family. To promote environmental awareness and learn about sustainable agriculture, some of our participants went to volunteer with Plenitud an organic farm in Puerto Rico. During the trip these participants learned how to manage rainwater, how to select plants to maximize the health of the soil and how to educate others on the importance of knowing where our food comes from. Join UMAB and you too can have similarly amazing experiences.
