Deadline for the Spring 2007 Issue: February 16th, 2007

If you would like to submit but do not know if your paper qualifies, ask yourself a few questions:

1. Is my paper based on subject within the humanities field? Pretty much anything that is not math or science based qualifies.

2. Is my paper research based? If you used sources in your paper, it is research based.

3. Is my paper between 6 and 8 pages long? If it is a bit shorter, we can work with it. If it is a bit longer, try to cut it down. If you are having problems, our copy editing team can work with you.

If you would like to submit an artistic piece please email art or photos in. Email Submissions to ConfluenceJournal@yahoo.com

Submissions must include: A short abstract of what the piece is about, your full name, your class (freshman, sophomore, etc) and your major. Feel free to submit at any time.

We have a rollover policy. Like Cingular.

All students are encouraged to submit to Confluence. We welcome submissions from any humanities topic – philosophy, art, political science and literature are a few topics we have had in the past.

We also welcome artistic submissions to accompany our written works. Confluence can add to a list of accomplishments, make an impact in a resume and make a student look great to a graduate school or employer.

If you are printed in Confluence, count yourself as an officially published writer or artist. Leave your indelible mark on the University of Miami as one of its great thinkers, writers and artists. There is no better time to submit than now. For questions, comments, or concerns please contact confluencejournal@gmail.com.
