Earth Alert and the University
of Miami will celebrate and
participate in America Recycles Week, from November 13th to the 17th. Please
come to our weekly meetings or join our listserv to keep up to date on all
of the activities we will be hosting. For general recycling information,
please contact us at earth_alert@yahoo.com. As of the Fall 2006 semester,
recycling receptables are located in some
residential halls and administrative buildings. Earth Alert, members of
Student Government, Sustainable U and other organizations are working hard
to expand our recycling options, especially focusing on increasing the
amount of receptacles in high-traffic areas such as the UC, food court and
classrooms.
