  • The Federación de Estudiantes Cubanos (FEC) was founded at the University of Miami in 1967. This organization is dedicated to keeping the Cuban culture alive and present in the UM community. Members also showcase UM spirit to the fullest.

Not Cuban? Who Cares? Though many of FEC’s members are Cuban, that is not a requirement to join. FEC embodies a wide array of nationalities. Our members come from Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Iran, Puerto Rico, Nicaragua, Canada, Germany, Spain, Lebanon, Mexico, and Pakistan to name a few. Anyone is welcome in this dynamic organization!
