1/24/06 - The next Inquiry meeting will be THIS Thursday, January 26th at 7:00
pm in LC140. You don't want to miss this meeting! We will be having
several guest speakers come to speak, including Dr. Osentoski from the
Biology Department. He will be talking about his research and
announce possible research opportunities within the field for
undergraduates.
T-shirts will be distributed at the meeting too! All new members are
welcome to attend and submit the membership dues of $10. These dues
will get you a (really cool) t-shirt and more importantly, give you access to Inquiry's database of faculty researchers.
We'll discuss the ACC Meeting of the Minds Conference at Clemson that
UM will be SPONSORING a number of undergrad students to go represent
the University (aka FOR FREE!). We'll share all the details about the
conference at the meeting... We also have a representative from the
Research and Creativity Forum Committee coming to speak about the
competition and the deadlines for submission.
For those of you who might not yet have a resume or would like to
improve your current one, a representative from the Toppel Career
Center will be giving a presentation on Resume Building immediately
following Dr. Osentoski's presentation. This is critical for those of
you who still want to get involved in research!

Please stop by and visit us at the Inquiry table on Thursday during
the Spring Involvement Fair from 11-2. Members of the E-Board will
proudly be debuting our nice new Inquiry t-shirts! I look forward to
