SG Executive Board 2009-2010

Dear 'Canes:

We would like to welcome all new students and welcome back all returning students! We can't believe that it's already the beginning of the semester. We are very excited to have the opportunity to serve you this year and hope that we can all continue to improve this amazing university.

Over the summer, we worked on many projects that we hope you will enjoy. One of the new and exciting projects that we have brought to you is the new Key Biscayne Beach Shuttle. The shuttle will be running to Key Biscayne on set dates throughout the semester. Please click here for more information on the beach shuttles. We have also worked with the bookstore to provide you the ISBN's for all textbooks, so that you cal search for cheaper options elsewhere. In addition, the bookstore will be providing discounts and special deals more often. We have continued Student Government's devotion to GreenU and provided clearly marked bins for recycling. Dining services has worked with us to increase the food quality in the dining hall and to develop frequent buyer cards for the food court.

The door to the Student Government office is always open, so please feel free stop the SG office, room 214 on the second floor of the University Center. We want to hear any and all suggestions that you may have for new initiatives and projects that will benefit students at the U!
