Our advisor, Zisca Burton, runs the SpectrUM Book Club. It is a chance for members to read and discuss the little known genre of gay and lesbian books. As opposed to "straight books" these focus on specific issues that the GLBT community must deal with. Past books have included Annie on my Mind by Nancy Garden and Girl Walking Backwards by Bett Williams.
