Zisca Burton, M.A.
Zisca is the Associate Director of English Composition and has taught English Composition at the University of Miami since August 2002. She received her B.A. in English and M.A. in African American Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has been the advisor of SpectrUM since 2008 and she is also the advisor to Delta Lambda Phi.

Advisor

Brian M. Orefice, Ph.D.
Brian started at the University of Miami in August 2007 as the Director of the Department of Orientation and Commuter Student Involvement. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Government from Connecticut College, and his M.A. and Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Leadership from The Ohio State University. His dissertation research was on student retention and financial aid practices. While at OSU, he worked for both the Department of Residence Life and the University Honors & Scholars Center. In addition to advising SpectrUM, he also the advisor to Undergraduate Student Government.
