Welcome! This is the official website of the University of Miami's Equestrian Team. The UM-Equestrian Team is a competitive club-team that participates in intercollegiate horse shows in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. We are members of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA). The Equestrian Team celebrates their 10th anniversary this year. Our team members range in ability from the very beginner who is riding for the first time, to very experienced riders who have been riding all of their lives. The common thread that binds them all is their love of horses and the equestrian sports. Any University of Miami student in good standing is eligible to be a member of the team. We compete in hunt seat and western. Members may choose to compete in only one or both riding styles. The UM-Equestrian Team promotes high standards in sportsmanship, leadership, teamwork, service and professionalism.
