**Welcome to University of Miami’s Scuba Club home page. The UM Scuba Club is a student organization of certified divers, including both undergraduate and graduate students. Our club meets every Wednesday night at 8:00 pm on the second floor of the UC (please see the meeting marquee for room location). Member dues are $35 for a semester or $55 for the entire year.
**Scuba club sponsors dive trips every weekend (weather permitting) to places like Jupiter, Miami Beach, and the Florida Keys. Each dive trip usually consists of two dives either in the mornings or afternoons, depending on our venue. Our membership dues help pay for club equipment available for all club members. Club equipment includes tanks, wet suits, BC’s, and lights; regulators can be rented for an extra $10 per dive trip. Members also get to dive at a discounted rate, usually around $35 per trip.
