Degree Programs

The Department of Sociology at the University of Miami offers two graduate degrees, the Master of Arts (M.A.) and the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.). Graduate study in the Department of Sociology equips students with the theoretical, methodological, and analytical tools required for teaching, research, and scholarship in academic and non-academic settings.
