General University Information
The Dean of Students Office houses the Honor Council and
is also responsible for the administration and record keeping
of all undergraduate student disciplinary programs. The Dean
of Students Office staff advises and directs the efforts of
students, faculty and administrators in disciplinary and Honor
Code-related concerns.
The Dean of Students Office coordinates The Center for Alcohol
and Other Drug Education and oversees the University Chaplains
Association. Also, the Dean’s Office plays an integral
role in the development of students by advising the Association
of Greek Letter Organizations, the National Pan-Hellenic Council,
Inc., the Interfraternity Council, the National Association
of Latino Fraternal Organizations, Inc., the Panhellenic Association,
Rho Lambda National Leadership Recognition Society for Sorority
Women, Order of Omega Greek Leadership Honor Society, Gamma
Sigma Alpha National Academic Greek Honor Society, Alpha Lambda
Delta Freshmen Honor Society, BACCHUS and GAMMA.
The Dean of Students Office coordinates efforts in response
to various student crises. Along with the Deans, the staff
includes a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. The entire staff
is knowledgeable and prepared to assist all students in their
adjustments to campus life.
