General University Information
The Honor Council is a standing committee of 29 undergraduate
student representatives who are responsible for educating
the University community on Honor Code related issues.
The members promote academic integrity through a variety of
educational programs and also investigate and adjudicate alleged
violations of the Undergraduate Student Honor Code.
The purpose of the Honor Code is to protect the academic integrity
of the University by encouraging consistent ethical behavior
in assigned course work by students. Members of the University
community who would like to request Honor Council programming
or investigation of alleged academic dishonesty are encouraged
to call the Secretary of the Honor Council at 284-5353.
