Type of Evaluations The University of Miami Academic Credentials Evaluators provide two types of international credential evaluations: Document-by-document. This type of evaluation provides the U.S. equivalent for each diploma or certificate submitted. Course-by-course. This is a more detailed type of evaluation. In addition to the information contained in a document-by-document evaluation, a course-by-course evaluation lists all post-secondary subjects in terms of U.S. semester credit hours and grade equivalents. Before applying for an evaluation, it is advisable to first contact the academic institution, licensing board, employer or any agency that requires the evaluation to find out its specific requirements. |
