| Supporting Faculty
Whether it’s preserving a rapidly growing community’s history and diversity through urban planning or using the laws of physics to better understand gang violence and cancer, faculty at the University of Miami are on the cutting edge of research. The University of Miami strives to recruit, retain and support talented professors who mentor our students. Many of our most innovative programs and research initiatives are a direct result of the active and generous support we have received, in the form of endowments and contributions, from donors. In addition to attracting top professors and researchers to the University, these contributions allow our faculty to attend important conferences and seminars and focus on research, so that they can ultimately share those experiences with students and the world.
