The Guantánamo Public Memory Project, on view at the College of Arts and Sciences Gallery from September 29 to October 31, is a traveling exhibit that seeks to build public awareness and foster dialogue about the long history of the U.S. naval station at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba.

From September 4 through the fall 2014 semester, the University of Miami hosts Places and Spaces: Mapping Science, a lecture series and an exhibit of 100 images that visualize data in attractive and thought-provoking ways.

MarieGuerda Nicolas, associate professor in the UM School of Education and Human Development, and colleagues have launched this website, where you can explore art, music, poetry, and more related to Haiti’s history of slavery/colonization, revolution, independence in 1804, and the vertebrate impacts of its contribution to the world.
