This camera view is positioned across the street, one block south of UM's main entrance and has an excellent view of the BankUnited Center (far left), McDonald Tower behind it (partially blocked), and the campus vista. In the foreground, see the MetroRail's University station. A new parking lot is being constructed in the center, just beyond the tracks.

Symbolized by the School’s central Courtyard, the “Common Ground” is a lively arena demanding the participation of a wide range of individuals from within and outside the School.

Also on McDonald Tower, this is a live view facing north. Behind Lake Osceola is the Whitten University Center and its outdoor swimming and diving facilities. Behind the University Center is the School of Business Administration. In the background is the City of Miami skyline. In the lower right corner is Eaton Residential College.

The Professional Arts Center on the far right side stands next to the new Clinical Research Building (CRB). The CRB stands 16 stories and houses various research and clinical departments, along with a new wellness center for the UM/JMH campus.

The Research Quadrangle, located in the center of the medical campus, is a place where faculty, staff, and patients can enjoy the wonderful weather of Miami. It is a popular spot for coffee breaks and lunch, and a center of calm on an active campus.

Miller School

Opened in 1918 and listed in the National Register of Historic Places, the Alamo is the inspirational centerpiece for the 76-acre University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center. Opened 1918, as the original City of Miami Hospital, it was renamed James M Jackson Memorial Hospital in 1924 in honor of its original medical director.
