Reggie WayneThe UM Alumni Association is proud to name Reggie Wayne, B.L.A. ’01, Grand Marshal for UM Alumni Weekend & Homecoming 2015.

Wayne was a UM four-year starter under Coach Butch Davis from 1997-2000, named BIG EAST Rookie of the Year and a Sporting News Freshman All American. He is a school record holder with 173 career catches, including 36 consecutive games with a reception, and one of five wide receivers in ’Canes history to post 20 or more touchdowns in his career.

Wayne was selected 30th overall in the 2001 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts, joining three other Hurricanes to be drafted in the first round. Wayne has played his entire career so far with the Indianapolis Colts, amassing over 14,000 yards and over 80 touchdowns. In 2011, he was inducted into the University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame.
