As President Shalala mentioned in a video message, everything we do at the University of Miami is informed and shaped by our culture--the set of attitudes, behaviors, values, and beliefs that makes us who we are. Last month, we invited all University faculty and staff to participate in focus groups to gain a deeper understanding of UM's culture. We thank those of you who have already attended a session. In order to provide all faculty and staff with an opportunity to participate, we have scheduled a final set of focus groups.

During the focus groups, participants will be asked to provide feedback that will help leadership understand how to improve the way we do things at the University. The sessions will be conducted by facilitators from the Disney Institute, and your individual responses will remain private. We will use the collective feedback to better understand our priorities and opportunities for growth. 

Through your participation and honest feedback, we can make UM an even better place to work.

To facilitate valuable and productive discussions, each session will be limited to 12 participants; therefore, we ask that you register for the session of your choice at Coral Gables, Miller School of Medicine, RSMAS, Plantation, Deerfield, or Medley by clicking on the appropriate link below.
