2005 Going Global Conference. November 3-4, 2005. The "founding" Going Global Conference, hosted by Virginia Tech, involved over 100 participants from 11 universities. This highly successful inaugural conference involved a diverse agenda, highlighted by a presentation by Under Secretary of State Nicholas Burns.
