Jeanette Mladenovic, M.D., has been named senior associate dean for graduate medical education at the Miller School and the Miller School of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University (FAU).

Mladenovic is a professor of medicine and previously served as vice chair of the Department of Medicine at the Miller School and chief of medicine at the Miami Veterans Affairs Medical Center. She currently serves on the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education’s Residency Review Committee for Internal Medicine.

In her new position, Mladenovic will be overseeing the graduate medical education programs at Jackson Memorial Hospital, the Miller School’s main teaching hospital. In addition, she will be instrumental in establishing graduate medical education or residency programs at hospitals in Palm Beach County in conjunction with the Miller School of Medicine at FAU in Boca Raton.
